MEET THE MIND BEHIND MODERN RABBIT
Born in Mission Hills, CA. on July 4th, 1989. David Jimenez was raised in North Hollywood, CA. He is an award winning Producer and Director and is also a former Marine Infantryman and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. David also worked in a mental health center for four years before going to the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA where he graduated in May of 2020.
" I created Modern Rabbit because my entire life I've been digging deep into the rabbit holes of my imagination. As a person with ADHD, my mind can't help but dive into the depths and explore every avenue of something thats become an obsession. That obsession for me has always been cinema.
Every film, music video, and commercial is its own little rabbit hole. Just like in Alice in Wonderland, you never know what you're getting yourself into with a project until you dive in and see just how deep the rabbit hole really goes. Every rabbit hole is a unique world and has its own set of rules and challenges, but I make it my mission to obsess over every detail so I can bring that world to life. It sounds intense, but luckily my job is my passion so you know how it goes. I feel extremely lucky!"
David's attention to detail, tenacity, and high tolerance for stress make it so that not only can he work well under pressure, but thrives in it. He has Produced over 27 projects and Directed another 18 and has credits with some of the top names in the business such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and McDonald's amongst others. David considers himself an eternal student of the craft and says he's just getting started.
